Aya Khouzami is a senior biology student at the American University of Beirut (AUB), where she served as the student coordinator of AUBotanic, spearheading initiatives to preserve biodiversity and enhance sustainability on campus. She has hands-on experience in animal rescue and rehabilitation, reflecting her strong dedication to animal welfare.

Since joining Lebanese Wildlife, Aya has been instrumental in providing care for wild animals and supporting fundraising efforts, demonstrating her growing commitment to wildlife conservation. With a passion for bridging the gap between human environments and animal welfare, Aya is working toward a future in veterinary medicine, aiming to contribute to a more sustainable coexistence between people and wildlife.

Lebanese Wildlife (LW) is a dedicated environmental conservation NGO, founded in June 2020. Born from a passion for animal welfare, LW has been at the forefront of rescuing and rehabilitating injured, orphaned, and trafficked local wildlife.
